I stood in the show ring with tears in my eyes as Gage finished his Canadian Championship on May 16, 2010. He has brought me more proud moments than I had even hoped for. There is something very special about breeding, raising, showing, and loving a dog with all your heart and then having that dog recognized in such a special way. I never fully understood the term “heart dog” before Gage, but now I know what that feels like. There will never be another dog to fill his spot in my heart.\
